This particular design for a Pegasus with bird-like feathers came to me in a dream. I had fallen asleep in the woods (why was I there?) and was awakened by the sound of ruffling feathers, like the sound of a peacock strutting his tail feathers. I awoke to see this magnificent Pegasus. He could actually fly. He has large enough wings and a tail to steer by. And real "horse feathers". It would be my dream to cast a "life-size" version.
